Nourishing Our Neighbors
Our food programs seek to meet one of our most basic human needs. In accordance with the second UN Sustainable Development Goal “Zero Hunger,” FSE works in marginalized communities providing not only balanced and nutritious meals, but also a space to develop real, transformative relationships with one’s neighbors.
In our commitment to uphold human dignity, we provide groceries to the most vulnerable populations in our city. In partnership with institutions like the Bogota Food Bank, we provide more than 14,400 care baskets annually to our neighbors.

Expanding Our Impact
Expand the impact of our care basket program by increasing project infrastructure. With the purchase of a distribution truck and the provision of new contacts for product suppliers (food and cleaning supplies), we could extend our program to more vulnerable families in our city.

Our community center feeding program was born in the 1990s from the Christian mandate to care for those in need in our communities, and with time has grown into a program that now partners with the Secretary of Social Integration to serve more than 305,000 lunches annually to low-income families.
